No. The  Louisiana Physical Therapy Practice Act that went into effect in 2016 allows for patients to seek "direct access" to physical therapy treatment without a referral. You can come directly to us and we will evaluate you, determine if you need physical therapy, and tailor a treatment plan to your needs without a referral!

We have referral relationships with many physicians in our community, and patients come to us through referrals from physicians or other health care providers or because they've heard about us through friends and family.  When our patients are referred from other health care providers, we are committed to communication with the referral source so our patients’ best interests are served by a team approach. 

All of your treatment will be performed by a licensed physical therapist who will tailor your treatment  plan to fit your needs so that, together, we can meet your goals.
